Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

Account information. When you create an account we store your email address and a securely hashed version of your password. We also keep basic login session information and, if you enable it, two-factor authentication settings.

What you write and say in the app. To give you guidance, the app processes the problems, feelings and situations you type, and — if you use voice input — the audio you record. This may include sensitive personal and emotional information that you choose to share.

Your spiritual progress data. The app stores information you create while using it, such as the patterns you choose to work on, check-ins, practice (“Naam Jap”) streaks, and your notes, so the app can support you over time.

Community content. If you use the community features, the posts, messages, blessings, connections and any media you upload are stored so they can be shown in the app.

Basic technical information. Like most apps, our servers may automatically record limited technical data (such as device/connection information and error logs) to keep the service secure and working.

2. How we use your information

• create and secure your account and keep you signed in;
• understand what you are going through and generate personalised spiritual guidance, verses and practices;
• transcribe voice input into text so you don’t have to type;
• show and operate community features you choose to use;
• maintain, protect and improve the app.

3. Third-party services we share data with

To provide the app, we share limited data with trusted service providers who process it on our behalf:

• Google (Gemini AI): the text you submit and any voice recordings you make are sent to Google’s Gemini service so it can transcribe your voice and help generate guidance. Google processes this data to return a result to the app.
• Supabase: stores your community content, profile and uploaded media on our behalf.

These providers are only permitted to use the data to provide their service to us. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and security of our users and the app.

4. Data retention

We keep your account and the data you create for as long as your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time (see Section 6).

5. Security

We protect your data using measures such as password hashing, secure connections, optional two-factor authentication, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

6. Your choices and rights

• You can edit or delete content you create in the app.
• You can request a copy of your data, or request deletion of your account and associated data, by emailing forkrtech@gmail.com.
• You can choose not to use voice input or community features.

7. Children

Krishna’s Kode is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Sensitive topics

Krishna’s Kode offers spiritual reflection and is not a medical service and does not provide medical, psychological or crisis advice. If you are in distress or crisis, please contact a qualified professional or local emergency services.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the app means you accept the updated policy.
